Oooooooo I Caught You!

So we have designated furniture in the house that the dogs are allowed on...they "know" which ones that they are SUPPOSED to stay off of & which ones they can go on whenever they want. My good Restoration Hardware couch & chair in the living room, the striped couch & chairs set in the fireplace room, the white couch in the office and the spare bed are off limits. You will not find these puppies on any of those pieces of furniture while we are at home.....unless they think they can get away with it! Last night I was watching tv downstairs & had to run upstairs for something. I'm obviously moving pretttty slowly & I guess more quietly. I'm halfway up the stairs when I hear "thump"..."click click click"...and see a cute little puppy quickly appear in the hallway with her ears down, eyes blinking, tail thumping like crazy.....

I totally caught that little stinker Mylee jumping down off the bed in the spare bedroom...she thought she was sooooo sly.....

Watch the video & look at how guilty she looks (so cute...how can you be mad?!!) and she just kept trying to kiss me to say "sorry Mom...I didn't mean to...but it's just so comfy in there!". I can't blame her...the bed & linens ARE the most comfortable thing in the world.

Kongers For The Babies

Last night I was filling the dogs Kongs with some wet & dry food & then was going to put them in the freezer for the next morning (makes them work harder at getting the goods out). Those dogs were like sharks circling their prey. I put them outside to finish off my job & look at them just sitting there staring at me...watching...waiting...drooling...

That's Purty

Our cherry tree is already starting to lose it's petals, which is sad because the tree looks so beautiful...but just as pretty are the petals that accumulate on the ground. It honestly looks like what a bride would want to walk down the aisle on if she had an outdoor May wedding.

Sleepover Time

Saturday we had Miss Nellie Nelson for a playdate/sleepover. Time to whip out my camera & get some more practice in. Nothing too exciting to post but thought I'd share anyways. I know Mom N & Howard will enjoy the pics anyways... : )

Mylee giving Nellie a little ear nibble

This is my favorite pic of Nellie

Why is Rainbow always sticking her tongue out at me????

How cute is her Hitler mustache?

Spring Has Sprung

This time of the year is when the front of our house looks the prettiest. Isn't that cherry tree just gorgeous. We even have nice green grass!
And I know you can't see her in the pic but Miss Rainbow is on her ottoman looking out the top right window..."Hi Tortilla!".

Aaaahhhh...The Good Ol' Days

I think our cool traveling days are pretty much over...no more trips to distant countries like Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Argentina, Costa Rica and Brazil. Guess our new destinations will be Disney Land & the National Parks. That's ok, I guess. I was going through my "favorites" on my computer & came upon the blog that Tracey made of the trip we took to Machu Picchu, Peru in 2005. Click here if you want to check out all the pics.

On top of Machu Picchu- Tracey, Tom, John & myself

Li'l Help

Friday afternoon Mom, Robyn, Kaelyn, and Maddie came down for the weekend. Thank God. They were a huge help- from helping to go through Ebay/consignment clothing, to moving furniture, to helping paint the bookcase & radiator covers, to doing a little organizing..they all helped pitch in. Dad stayed home to work on his own house so it was us girls all weekend.....and John! Ahahaha...and I must say, he was a great sport & even joined in on some of our activities.

Handpicked flowers from Dad

Uhhh....and she wonders why everyone calls her "Crazy Lorraine"...
That would be Mom w/ the dogs pigs ears treats:

Saturday morning we ALL headed down for mani/pedi's. John opted for a regular pedicure plus 2 additional 10 minute massages from "Nancy". He told me if he could do it all over again he wouldn't have married me & would have married a nice subserviant Asian chic.

He's in Heaven

Maddie getting her massage after her mani/pedi. How cute is that?

Later on the girls went down to the soccer field with John to practice- they plan on joining the school's teams over the summer. John was all too happy to be their "coach" and even took them to get their own soccer balls.

Kaelyn in action!

Later that afternoon the girls helped John puddy & then paint the bookcase & radiator covers. He worked these girls to the bone!

Please Let This Baby Come Soon

Every night that comes that I haven't had the baby John says "let's get something done on the house before the baby comes". Ugh. This has included cleaning out & organizing closets, drawers and cabinets, going through magazines, going through clothes, putting together the stroller & any other baby bouncer, swing or baby related item, washing all baby linens, etc., and washing windows. John even tried to convince me to have a tag sale this past weekend so we could clear out all our unwanted stuff. He Cookoo Bird. Last night...it was giving the carpets a deep cleaning. While it's nice to have a clean house, this crap is getting tiring! Better to get it done now though I guess since once Marnie arrives I'll be kinda busy with other things... : )

I got the job of rinsing out the pads after each use...I thought I was supposed to be on the couch with my feet up??
